RELEASE NOTES
Apex keeps
getting sharper.
Confirmed releases, improvements and fixes.
0.2.1-beta
14 October 2026
- Claude answers up to 10 questions for each hour of a race (an hour's unused ones carry over), and 10 a day across practice and qualifying. After that Apex says so once and the backup engineer answers the rest; Claude is back when the next hour of the race starts, or in the next race.
- Feedback now reports the right version number.
0.2.0-beta
13 October 2026
- Claude Sonnet 5.5 answers your questions, free in your first 10 races. Practice and qualifying never count.
- Corners in plain words ("the hairpin", "the next corner"), said from where you are, and a mini-map over the game.
- Qualifying mode: quiet on your push laps, with an out-lap brief, your lap time and position.
- A fuel check on the grid against what the race needs, and pit-lane starts counted properly.
- A track picture after every race, with the corners where you lost the most time in red.
- Say "quiet", "normal" or "chatty" mid-race to change how much the engineer talks.
0.1.0-beta
1 October 2026
- The open beta: spotter, race engineer, fuel and racecraft calls, push-to-talk questions, a spoken debrief and optional race clips.
